Mavis Bank Central Factory Limited (MBCF) is Jamaica's largest and only fully integrated Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee facility.
MBCF processes approximately 1.4 million pounds of green beans from approximately 6,000 farmers per year. Close to 1 million pounds is exported in barrels and bags under the MBCF mark in the green bean form. The remainder is roasted and packed in vacuum bags under the Jablum brand. The vacuum bags ensure freshness for approximately one year. This vacuum bag is then placed in burlap bags and wrapped with our Blue Jablum label.
Our Coffee is sold through various outlets across Jamaica and the Caribbean with the tourism centers. This consumes the bulk of our production.
Small quantities are also shipped to the USA, UK, Canada, Korea and Taiwan, however the centre of business lies in the tourism centres across the Caribbean.
